"Taurus" was built in 1982-84 at Lake of the Woods Kenora Ontario by Jim McClelland.
She is a sister to "Lancashire Rose"

Strip planking 5/8 in. Douglas fir.

Diagonal planking Douglas fir.

Mahogany transom, before last layer.

Last layer mahogany, spiled fore and aft.

Fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin.

This show's the advantage of having bulkheads installed before planking.

Sub-deck and coachroof.

Coachroof is lined with sitka spruce.

Ready for painting (linear polyurethane)
